Chapter 2 - Sun Shiny Day

El's diary, Sunday 26th May

Today, after all those cold months, I've finally felt like the summer is really approaching. The sun is shining bright, it's warm and when I got lost in the yellow field, it felt like a perfect dream. Imagine the smell! Imagine the warmth! Just a perfectly spent day.
I made yet another flower crown. I think I will continue making them until the flowers stop blooming. Or maybe then I'll find something else, branches or things like that. Or seaweeds when we go see the ocean! I cannot wait for summer! I CAN'T! I'm just so excited! All that adventure ahead, all those treasures and memories! All those fairies and battles with Captain Hook! And Narnia in summer! And of course, the best summer activity ever: CAMP HALF-BLOOD! But for now, I still have to wait and only dream. But it's not gonna take long now, I've started to count down days 'till the end of school.
